In recognition of the business relationships and valuable experience developed throughout 30 years of collaboration with European companies Concordia initiated a special anniversary project in 2004: an internship program. This program aims to create opportunities for a work experience in Turkey for higher education and university students from the European Union who, in most cases, are required to do an internship as part of their academical program, in preparation for their future professions.

Concordia’s internship program includes:

• undertaking of all services foreseen in realisation of this internship program as a non-profit, volunteer project
• providing a placement process in line with the study obligation of the students
• finding a suitable company offering a field of work interesting enough for the student
• providing assistance in finding suitable accommodation
• giving orientation as much as a new-comer may need
• a close follow-up during the student’s stay in Turkey
• an assigned mentor if needed
